As expected on my last blog, WorkSafe is giving an exemption’s on the use of excavators as cranes, see the link at the bottom of the page to access all the information. This is a MUST for you to read & understand
As I mentioned in my last blog the easiest way to go is to do the C2 course, this way you do not need to do Dogging as a pre-requisite to the SLILIC301 conduct safe lifting with excavators.
We are having the SLILIC301 Conduct safe lifting with excavators being designed by our resource makers as I type, so this will not be too long before we will be conducting this course anyway.
I am expecting this courses to run for approximately 3 – 4 days for about $750.00, BUT any attendees will have to have their High Risk Work License for dogging prior to being able to sit this course.
A lot of companies are looking at both the DG & Safe lifting so we will look at a combined course cost’s for you.
