If you plan to use an EWP at above 11 metres, you’ll need to obtain an elevated work platform (EWP) licence or ticket. You may obtain an EWP licence by completing a course delivered through a registered training organisation (such as Down to Earth) and conducted by a registered WorkSafe HRWL assessor using the appropriate national instrument.
Our EWP course covers the fundamental knowledge required to safely operate a range of elevated work platforms, such as scissor lifts, truck mounted and self-propelled boom lifts, while working at heights above 11 metres. Through our training course, you not only learn the proper use of an EWP but also how to check the EWP equipment and work area plus planning the job, WHS responsibilities, safe operation as well as shutting down the equipment and securing the site.
