COURSE AIM - Traffic Control
To provide participants with the theory and skills necessary to safely control traffic with a Stop/Slow bat in accordance with Main Roads WA standards.

COURSE AIM - Basic Worksite Traffic Management:
To provide participants with the theory and skills necessary to undertake basic worksite traffic management.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This training is essential for anyone who will be involved
in control and management of traffic as part of their
normal duties. It is suggested that this training form an integral part of induction training for employees intending
to work in these areas.
Participants must hold a current drivers licence.

PRE-REQUISITE for Traffic Control
The BWTM is a pre-requisite to attend the TC and/or
AWTM courses.  Workers from other States who hold the BCCCM3003B (BWTM equivalent) and/or BCCCM2013B
(TC equivalent) can  attend the renewal courses to
acquire the MRWA accreditation.

ASSESSMENT / CERTIFICATION
Written assessments will be conducted after the course. (There are no in-class practical assessments).
On successful completion of the in-class theory
assessment, participants will be given a Provisional
MRWA Accreditation as an 'Endorsed Trainee in BWTM
and/or TC'. A log book will be given to the participant to collect evidence that practical experience is achieved.

This log book is to be filled in by their immediate
supervisor (who holds current accreditation in BWTM
and/or TC). The endorsed trainee has three (3) months
to gain the practical experience.

The completed log book is to be sent back to Down to
Earth for processing in order for certificates and cards to
be sent to the participant.

Accreditation for the BWTM and TC starts at the date of issue.  

COURSE RECOGNITION
bookings . Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate (MRWA) which is valid for 3 years.
This course meets BCCCM3003B Implement Traffic Management Plan (Statement of attainment) nationally recognized standard.

Cost & Duration for Traffic Control
$160 per person (Theory Only) or $210 per person with practicals (GST NOT included) 
8.00am to 2.00pm (6 hours)  

Cost & Duration for Basic Worksite Traffic Management $160 per person (Theory Only) or $210 per person with practicals (GST NOT included)
8.00am to 3.00pm (7hours)
