Down to Earth Training & Assessing delivers competency based Rigging Training Programs that are designed to meet the National Occupational Health & Safety Certification Standards & aligns to a National Training Package.

The Rigging Training Programs offered are:

  • Basic Rigging (UEPOPS212A Perform Basic Rigging Work)

Operation as a Rigger with the skills and knowledge to cover requirements as detailed in the National Occupational Health & Safety Certification Standards for Uses & Operators of Industrial Equipment & to the National Training Package.

Prerequisite Unit(s)  Competency in this unit shall be assessed only after the following competencies have been acquired: UEPOPS201A Comply with Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures or equivalent & Worksafe requirement of a Dogging Certificate. Minimum age of 18 years with the ability to speak and write English to a basic level and have the necessary levels of health and fitness to safely carry out work as a Rigger.

Certification

Competent candidates will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and a nationally recognized WorkSafe 60 day interim certificate. WorkSafe Western Australia will issue a Certificate of Competency within that 60 day period.
DTE can submit ALL Worksafe required paperwork on your behalf but costs do apply.

  • Intermediate Rigging (UEPOPS213A Perform Intermediate Rigging Work)

Operation as a Rigger with the skills and knowledge to cover requirements as detailed in the National Occupational Health & Safety Certification Standards for Uses & Operators of Industrial Equipment & to the National Training Package.

Prerequisite Unit(s)  Competency in this unit shall be assessed only after the following competencies have been acquired. UEPOPS212A Perform Basic Rigging Work

Minimum age of 18 years with the ability to speak and write English to a basic level and have the necessary levels of health and fitness to safely carry out work as a Rigger.

Certification

  • Advanced Rigging (UEPOPS302A Perform Advanced Rigging Work)

Operation as a Rigger with the skills and knowledge to cover requirements as detailed in the National Occupational Health & Safety Certification Standards for Uses & Operators of Industrial Equipment & to the National Training Package.

Prerequisite Unit(s) 
Competency in this unit shall be assessed only after the following competency has been acquired: UEPOPS213A Perform Intermediate Rigging Work.
Minimum age of 18 years with the ability to speak and write English to a basic level and have the necessary levels of health and fitness to safely carry out work as a Rigger.

Certification
Competent candidates will be issued with a Statement of Attainment and a nationally recognized WorkSafe 60 day interim certificate. WorkSafe Western Australia will issue a Certificate of Competency within that 60 day period.
