Elevated Work Platform (experienced)

DTE offers 1 day course for experienced and 2 day course for inexperienced operators. The objective of this course is to pass the requirements to obtain a High Risk Licence to perform EWP operations under WorkSafe WA.

Pre-requisites

Participants must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have 2 x forms of identification on the day of training
• Wear fully enclosed shoes on the day of training PPE
• Present 2 x passport photos on the day of training or pay DTE to do this
• Possess good verbal and written comprehension of the English language

Description

This course covers all aspects of safe EWP operations.

Course contents include:

• EWP safety awareness
• Slings, harnesses and other personal protective equipment
• Hazard identification and risk controls
• Pre and post operational checks
• EWP orientation
• EWP orientation (ground controlled)
• Basic operation (basket controlled)
• Working at height

The listed course price does not cover the Worksafe Application Fee: $79. (Worksafe applications are compulsory for all Worksafe accredited courses/high risk courses)

Candidates may choose to apply for Worksafe certification on their own or do it through DTE.

NOTE: Worksafe applications are compulsory on Worksafe accredited courses. If you want DTE to handle your Worksafe Application, please account for the charge of $93 per person.
