Pre-requisites

  • Read and write the English language
  • Participants must have good vision and hearing and be able to lift, bend etc
  • Must hold & provide evidence of a valid Worksafe WA Construction Safety Awareness card (blue/white card)

Learning Outcomes

Participants will be able to detail, utilise and apply the basic principals, rules, procedures, signs and devices used to provide appropriate basic workplace traffic management.

This training will enable participants to set up, monitor and pack worksite traffic management sites in accordance with approved Traffic Management Plan (TMP).


Course Notes

Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate (MRWA) which is valid for 3 years.

This course meets RIIOHS302A Implement Traffic Management Plan (statement of attainment) nationally recognised standard.

 

Course Recognition

Participants are to wear long leg pants, long sleeve shirt, steel cap boots, hat or wet weather gear (whichever appropriate).

Assessment is by written/oral test and a number of practical traffic control tasks.
